Multiple Solutions in One Device
The Intellinet Network Solutions High-Power Wireless AC600 Dual-Band Outdoor Access Point / Repeater serves multiple purposes - an access point for your wireless network, a basic wireless router, a wireless repeater that amplifies the wireless signal to extend your network, a CPE for wireless Internet service (WISP), and two high-gain antennas for long range transmissions - and brings it all together in an easy to configure package.
Concurrent 2.4 and 5 GHz Performance
The main benefit of a dual-band AC access point is the ability to shift traffic from the congested 2.4 GHz band to the relatively uncluttered 5 GHz space. So, you can use the 2.4 GHz band for your everyday tasks, such as surfing the Internet, social media or e-mail, while the 5 GHz AC band can be used for mission-critical transmissions.
Flexibility via passive-PoE
The Intellinet Network Solutions High-Power Wireless AC600 Dual-Band Outdoor Access Point / Repeater comes with a passive PoE port. This port can be used to power the device with the included passive PoE injector for distances up to 60 meters, which is very convenient in situations where AC power is not readily available.
