With both USB Type A and serial connectors, this device is a perfect solution for connecting legacy RS232 equipment such as barcode scanners and industrial devices to computers in retail, IT and digital signage scenarios.
Thanks to COM Port Retention technology, once the USB to Serial Converter with COM Retention has been installed and configured, it can be disconnected from the computer and reconnected to any available USB port on that computer at any time without having to reconfigure your software, saving time.
