The XQ-840II is a two-in-one stand-alone labelling solution, featuring an 8-inch Android tablet embedded onto a 4-inch (118mm) Direct Thermal desktop label printer. Supporting a space saving, embedded tablet anti-theft design, high performance features, efficient power management and a low total cost of ownership. All bundled with a two-year warranty as standard.

This all-in-one solution allows users to easily develop Android apps leveraging the open-source nature of the OS, and conveniently manage updates of the customer-built apps through Google Play Store. Powered by a 2 GHz quad-core processor and boasting ample memory capacity, the XQ-840ll delivers rapid and efficient data handling for a broad spectrum of standalone label printing tasks. Giving users have the flexibility to connect various peripherals such as barcode scanners and weighing scales via 2 USB Host, WLAN, and Bluetooth®.

Meanwhile the tablet is embedded onto a 4-inch label and barcode printer, which can print at speeds of up to 6ips at 203dpi (XQ-840II) or 5ips at 300dpi (XQ-842II) to produce high quality text, graphics and 1D/2D barcodes. The labelling solution is compatible with market-leading languages including SLCS, BPL-Z™, BPL-E™ and BXL/POS. While supporting a media roll diameter of up to 130mm, with a flexible in-field installable Wall Mount, Auto Cutter and Peeler options.
