The new standard
USB 3.0 Type-C™ ports have two distinct advantages over the existing forms. They are smaller and therefore ideal for thin laptops and mobile devices and it is no longer necessary to insert the connector in a particular orientation. The IB-HUB1409-C3 is made from aluminum and thus very light even if you are on the move. The look, however, does not lose in importance, the hub presents itself with a sandblasted surface.
